When digestion suffers, the mind is scattered.

Food is your fix. But food is not a one-day fix, gut health needs daily care. Our newest soup is representing our philosophy so good!

🍃FERMENTED ASPARAGUS SOUP WITH NETTLE OIL 🍃

Super seasonal & local, with asparagus and fresh handpicked (with gloves) nettle from Eppendorf.

Fermented, and thus super healthy, using the facto-fermentation technique: a variation of wild fermentation that's characterized by the presence of Lactobacillus bacteria (to prevent confusion: this has nothing to do with lactose/dairy) Fermented foods have been around for thousands of years, and now, what's old is new again 💫Historically, fermentation was used to preserve food, but currently, it has been gaining popularity for major health benefits like improving digestion, immunity and mental health.

And of course super delicious. Besides the health benefits, fermentation techniques are so cool to use! We are experimenting a lot and the deliciousness that comes out of our kitchen is ✨The taste of this soup is just perfect.

Maybe you don’t think of this weather as soup weather but a soup can support our bodies better than you think. We use asparagus, lemon and a herbal nettle oil to fresh it all up and make it a summer soup. ☀️

We are open for seating again. AND IT FEELS SO SO GOOD!

(MO-FR9-15 WE10-16, without reservations, 5 people from 2 households on 1 table, no laptops)

We just started right away, because it is the BIGGEST gift and the best way to learn and adapt. It is seven months ago that we served in our ceramics on our terrace (that sounds so long! And it was long). The coming days the weather is not in our advantage but we just don’t care. Hope you are in the same vibe.

For everyone who is coming by: thank you so much! 🙏🏼 Your presence really means the world to us. Like really. Your support keeps us going. literally.

For all other hospitality colleagues: we wish you joy and strength. They go hand in hand. This transition is hard work and challenging. We are heading into the right direction and the core of our work is coming back! 🤍

For everyone still thinking of coming by: Just do it 💫Our current menu is full of rhubarb, strawberries, asparagus, radishes, a warm walnut espresso porridge, a delicious dal, and so on and so on. All created with this weather in mind. Fresh but also warm to support us in this transition. Bring all your outdoor clothing and an umbrella (we ordered a very large one but I guess we were not the only one with this idea, so delivery time is in 3 weeks 💦💦), and a warm heart. Saturday, it is 2 years ago we opened up this door for the 1st time! ✨💫☀️ WOW! (And we are longer open in C-setup than in our normal setup)! This year we did not make big plans. But we did make some SMALL plans!

First of all a BIG THANK YOU 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Together, we are not not letting this crisis, the financial figures, the absence of our space, or the masks that hide our smiles or..bring us down. We are not letting this crisis forget us about the highlights. We are really good at celebrations so we will celebrate, also in times of crisis. In another form. But we will, and what is stronger than a mental celebration? The realisation that you are proud, happy and full of love. What is more heartwarming than a symbolic gift? What is more meaningful than expressing gratitude? Nothing. The biggest gift and feelings of happiness come from within. Of course, the whole thing gets more value and fun, if we can share it, celebrate together, but we can still do this, also in times of physical distancing. We just have to be creative.

It was a ride, the last 2 years. A bumpy ride, but one filled with love, learnings, beautiful connections & delicious food. We followed our hearts, gave our best and never gave up. Everyday we took steps to come in action and contribute to our dreams and a better world. And we hope, from the bottom of our hearts that we are a place where you feel at home, connected, and nourished. A place where we, together, focus our energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.

The one question that will fill our hearts? We are beyond excited to hear and see your ÆNDRÈ memories, thoughts, moments and photos. It would be the biggest gift and social nearness if you share them here.

Dear all,

ÆNDRÈ was never about selling you a coffee or a salad. Rather, ÆNDRÈ was, and will always be, about contributing to a holistic system and lifestyle. About inspiring a community that supports each other in conscious decision making. For the greater good.

Yoga, Meditation, living mindfully, is very much connected to our philosophy. And here, online, one of the aspects in which we believe we can support you.

That’s why we started our conscious community sessions here on Instagram a couple of weeks ago. Now we would like to change a few things about them:

1. Having our focus on supporting you as a community this sessions will from now on take place via Zoom, simply because it is much more personal.

2. According to your answers in our short survey the other day we will share a morning yoga practice with you twice a month on Wednesday morning, starting tomorrow at 07.30 a.m.
