For the third time, we offered a wild herb hike followed by dinner with our friends from KRUUT. Together with expert Lina from KRUUT, we set off to discover local wild herbs. In the middle of the city: just look, don’t eat. Instead, we learn a lot about their great nutrients, effects and uses and get a few tips on where in Hamburg we can harvest wild herbs and use them in the kitchen.
After the herb discovery tour, we head back to ÆNDRÈ. A wild herb gazpacho is already waiting on the tables as a starter and Janine shows us her favorite recipe for an incredibly delicious pesto that can be refined with wild herbs as desired. This is then served with the quinoa risotto with roasted fennel. And for dessert, we enjoy energy squares decorated with wild flower petals. The atmosphere in the deli is lively and inspired conversations ring through the room. A really cozy and enriching evening – just the way we love it!
