Our Magical Morning – a space to start the day mindfully with yourself and nourished on all levels. Time to consciously check in with yourself and align yourself for the day.

How we start the day has a big impact on the rest of our day and our inner world. Are we directly on the outside or do we have a moment to be with ourselves first? It doesn’t have to be a long morning practice every morning, even small rituals can make such a big difference: 3 deep conscious breaths, spending the first few hours of the day without a cell phone or enjoying a warm drink in peace.
To immerse ourselves in the magic of the morning hours, when the world is still a little quieter, we created the Magical Morning. This event has already taken place twice with Doro and Femke and has given the participants inspiration to create an approachable start to the day for themselves.
It was a misty summer morning when we met in the park – the grass was still a little wet and there was a freshness in the air. To energize the body, we started with a ginger and lemon shot before rolling out our yoga mats. We then moved through a gentle Hatha yoga class to wake up the body. The meditation that followed invited introspection for the journaling questions:
- What is currently there/what was there during the asana practice, where would you like to go deeper? What has changed?
- How would you like to meet yourself in the coming period?
- What qualities, people and encounters nourish you and how can you invite them to support you?
After the pencils had flowed over the paper in silence, we nourished ourselves with warm porridge for breakfast and there was room to talk about what we had experienced.
